Jodie Chiou is a Taiwanese-American illustrator and storyteller based in NYC.  Illustration is her means to explore strange and delightful universes and characters.  She enjoys playing with interesting shapes and expressive perspectives, often drawing upon her dreams, childhood, and culture as inspiration.  Jodie specializes in children’s books and editorial work and primarily creates with digital tools.

Jodie has an M.A. in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a B.A. in Cognitive Science from Rutgers University.
